Lothian Flyer

I really enjoyed the race and found the course great. I accidentally found my self in a break away after the first lap as I just went to take a turn trying to chase down some riders and no one followed. This rather annoyingly seemed to then be the only break that the bunch seems to bother to chase down… but such is cat 3,4. From then on found it a fairly relaxed pace as I and a couple others seemed to be the only ones doing any work. Still a good fun race and a great course.

Thanks to all the volunteers that helped make Lothian Flyer a great success. 50 riders entered, two from ERC, Colin Jackson finishing best in 11th. Thomas Bruno of VC Glasgow South won, from a three man break that formed on lap 4.

Falkland Hill Climb

Alan Dean finally got the top spot at the WLCC Thank Crit it's Friday Series, with a convincing win last week.

Colin Jackson was top placed V40 at The Ivy Road Race.
