One Year On - Remembering Neal Doggett

by Euan Munro

We are soon approaching the anniversary of when we sadly lost our fellow rider Neal Doggett on 22 September last year. Neal rode his last Tuesday night chaingang on 16 September 2025. To remember Neal, his wife, Francesca, would like to invite as many people as possible to take part in a controlled edition of the Tuesday night chaingang in his memory on 15 September, to celebrate Neal's joy in riding. This was Neal's favourite ride, and this seems like a fitting tribute to him.

Date: Tuesday 15th September
Time: 18:20 at Electric Bridge, Musselburgh or group leaving 18:00 at the Commonwealth Pool
Route: https://www.strava.com/segment...

N.B. As with all Tuesday Night Chaingangs, this isn't an official club ride.

Also, the club's annual Hill Climb competition has been renamed the Neal Doggett Memorial in his honour. As usual, it's taking place on Arthur's Seat and is open to Youths and Adults. It is a CTT event, so open to everyone in an affiliated club, with details and sign-up here: https://www.cyclingtimetrials....
