Club Trip to Majorca 2026

The club's warm weather trip to Mallorca took place in mid March and was thoroughly enjoyable with particularly fine weather (other than a spell of incredible winds on the Alcudia seafront...)
We were staying at a small variety of different dates and locations in Port de Pollenca. Generally rides were of small groups, but all in all there was over 20 ERC members there, with around half making up the main group in Pollenca Park. There were lots of rides of all descriptions - long, short, fast, slow, hilly, flat - and the triathletes of the group even managed to convince a few cyclists into the sea for a swim! There were others doing running - trail, fell and tarmac (and even Tom and Mary's Palma half-marathon...with an age category victory for Mary!)

Highlights (for me) were the lovely new tarmac on Orient (and next time we might not need to dodge diggers!), visiting the San Salvador monastery climb for the first time and the beautiful mountain road - particularly on the southern coastal part. And the great company and cake stops on all the rides!
Given the success, we'd also like to set dates for next year's trip to allow planning ahead... This will be the equivalent week 13-20 March 2027 - it'd be great to have as many as possible joining. The thought is to make it Port de Pollenca/Mallorca next year and then think about varying the location the year after (if that's not getting ahead of ourselves).
