It was another great edition of the club's hill climb, which was once again up Arthurs Seat. We had a record amount of entries this year with 64 - with 29 youths signing up. We had glorious weather and good conditions for racing as five riders beat the previous course record.

Ben Millar from Reflex Racing took the overall win with an eye-watering time of 2:27, only two seconds ahead of last year's winner Angus Toms. Cameron Ritchie was the best overall in 4th place with a great time of 2:39.

In the women's field, Arianne Holland from Alba took the win with a time of 3:08, Boo Williams in the Youth B category was good enough for second place with a time of 3:53 and Juli Stocks was 3rd with a time of 4:10 and also first vet woman and best ERC women. First vet men went to Marcin Kirsz from Veloclub Edinburgh at 2:43, with Ross Taylor from ERC at 2:59.

Last but not least, we had Mike Thomas from West Lothian Clarion ride the hill on his handcycle, so he went away with the para prize.

Thanks for all the helpers and for Historic Environmental Scotland for letting us host the event in the park!
