Inch Park Youth Cyclocross Results 2022

ERC's annual CX at Inch Park brought out some fantastic racing to match the weather.

The 2022 edition was held in bright sunshine with a field of over 100 riders participating in the races. The day began with a coaching session for novice women coached by Youth convenor Izzy Harris and Chris Wilkinson, assisted by daughter Daisy. Meanwhile an army of eager volunteers assembled the course for the women's race later in the morning. The afternoon was devoted to youth races which culminated in the U16 and U14 races. These carried BC points which help riders move up the starting grid in subsequent races.

It was not all about racing, with quality coffee on hand to stimulate parents, and much chatter about I don't know what.

The kit swap raised £138 in aid of Cardiac Risk in the Young (https://www.c-r-y.org.uk/). This takes the annual total to £1,136 excluding gift aided donations.
